Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. About Us
This website is operated by Dirobee Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12829161) whose registered office is at 15b Fen End, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB24 5NE. Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Dirobee Ltd, and "you" and "your" refer to the customer.
These terms and conditions govern the sale of products through www.dirobee.com. By placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.
2. Placing an Order
All orders are subject to availability. When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase. We will send you an order confirmation by email, but this does not mean your order has been accepted. A contract between us is formed only when we send you a despatch confirmation email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or where we suspect fraudulent activity.
3. Pricing
All prices shown on our website are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Postage and packaging is included in the price of all items. We make every effort to ensure pricing is accurate, but errors may occasionally occur. If we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered, we will contact you to inform you and give you the option to continue with the order at the correct price or cancel it.
4. Payment
Payment must be made in full at the time of placing your order. We accept the payment methods displayed on our website. All payments are processed securely.
5. Delivery
All orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked and postage is included in the price. We aim to despatch orders within 1–3 working days. Delivery timescales are estimates and not guaranteed, though we will always ensure goods are delivered within 30 days of the order being placed, as required by law.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us and we will investigate with Royal Mail.
6. Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, you must notify us by email or by email at sales@dirobee.com with a clear statement of your decision to cancel.
You must return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, unworn and undamaged. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless they are faulty or not as described.
Please note that personalised or bespoke items cannot be cancelled or returned unless they are faulty.
7. Returns and Refunds
In addition to your statutory cancellation rights, we offer a 30-day returns policy. If you change your mind about a purchase, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided the item is returned in its original condition, unworn, and in its original packaging.
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item. We will refund the full purchase price of the item. If an item is returned in a condition that suggests it has been worn or is not in its original packaging, we reserve the right to refuse the refund.
8. Faulty or Incorrect Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible. We will arrange for the item to be returned at our expense and offer you a full refund or replacement.
9. Hallmarking
Where applicable, all jewellery sold through our website complies with the Hallmarking Act 1973. Items made from precious metals that are required by law to carry a hallmark will be assayed and hallmarked by a UK Assay Office before sale.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, text, logos, and designs, is the property of Dirobee or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations, or other terms that may apply to our website or any products sold through it. We will not be liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to amend these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. It is your responsibility to check these terms regularly. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
